Kuwait Indian School, founded on November 14, 1985, by the late Mr. Ibrahim Al-Qutaimi - the school's Founder and Chairman, initially began as a Primary School in Farwaniya.

Despite severe damages to the school during the invasion, Kuwait Indian School demonstrated resilience by promptly reopening post-conflict. Under the personal guidance of Mr. Ibrahim Al-Qutaimi, along with Mrs. Kalyani Mukherjee as the Principal and Mrs. Irene Menezes as the Administrative Manager, the school successfully recommenced its operations.
